Meet Joanna

Hi, I'm Joanna!

Joanna · Graduate StudenT Intern · Teens 13+ · Young adults ·

I work with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, identity, and relationship challenges, with a particular interest in supporting teens and young adults. Many of my clients may feel overwhelmed, disconnected from their emotions, uncertain about who they are or where they’re headed, or impacted by experiences and patterns they’re trying to better understand.

I believe healing happens through genuine human connection and having a space where you can show up exactly as you are.

My style is warm, collaborative, and real. I want to meet you where you are and create a space where we can make sense of what you’re experiencing together. My approach draws from person-centered, CBT, and IFS-informed principles to help you develop greater self-understanding, recognize patterns, build practical tools, and create meaningful change.

Therapy isn’t always easy, and I believe there is room for all parts of the process—the heavy emotions, the small victories, and even moments of laughter. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin.

One of the things I value most about counseling is helping people develop a deeper, more compassionate relationship with themselves.

My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported as you explore the experiences that have shaped you, reconnect with your strengths, and move toward a life that feels more authentic to who you are.
