If you've ever found yourself overthinking a text, questioning where you stand in a relationship, or wondering "why do I keep ending up here?" — you're in the right place.

I work with young adults and adults navigating relationship anxiety, breakups, communication struggles, anxiety, depression, and childhood trauma. A lot of my clients feel stuck in cycles they can't quite explain, while others want connection but feel held back by fear or past experiences.

I also really enjoy working with clients who are ready to explore their emotional world in a way that feels real and not forced — building self-awareness, strengthening communication, and showing up in relationships as more of themselves.

As a first-generation American Albanian, I know firsthand that in many families, everything is "fine" until it isn't. Therapy isn't always something that gets talked about, let alone encouraged. If you grew up in a home where feelings were pushed down, struggles were kept private, or asking for help felt like a sign of weakness — I get it. That context doesn't disappear when you walk into a session; it's part of your story, and we work with it, not around it.

I was born and raised in Chicago, the oldest child in a first-generation family navigating divorce, single parenthood, and a whole lot of extended family in the mix. Later in my teens, I became part of a blended family too, so I know that transition from the inside. People came to me early to talk things through, for company, or just to feel less alone. That taught me something I carry into every session: relationships are everything, and the ones we grow up in shape how we show up in every one that follows.

Why I became a therapist

I became a therapist because I believe people deserve support in building connections that actually feel good — not just familiar. That means working on communication, self-awareness, boundaries, and breaking cycles that were never yours to carry in the first place.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in attachment, helping you see how your past shows up in your present relationships. I draw from CBT, trauma-informed care, attachment-based interventions, DBT skills, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), tailoring each session to what actually fits you.

I might be the right therapist for you if...

  • You overthink your relationships and replay conversations long after they're over

  • You keep ending up in the same cycles and can't quite explain why

  • You want closeness but fear or past experiences hold you back

  • You grew up in a home where feelings were pushed down or kept private

  • You're ready to explore your emotional world in a way that feels real, not forced

  • You want to strengthen communication, set boundaries, and show up as more of yourself

I earned my Master of Arts in Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy from the University of Central Florida.

Outside of the therapy room, you'll find me doing dance workouts, getting lost in a good book, watching sports, or rewatching a comfort show for the fifth time.

Relationships are everything — and the ones we grow up in shape how we show up in every one that follows.

If you're ready to break cycles that were never yours to carry and build connections that actually feel good, I'd love to walk alongside you.
